Award for Lakeside School's Hydrotherapy Pool

Lakeside School, Welwyn Garden City, has replaced its dilapidated pool building with a new hydrotherapy centre designed and built by Norwegian Log Buildings. Hydrotherapy is very important at the school, which is for profoundly disabled children. It is therefore particularly satisfying that the project has won a SPATA (Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association) award as the UK's best pool in the special needs sector.
