A Norwegian Log cabin makes a wonderfully spacious home leisure centre that's perfect for exercise or relaxation.

American banker Dr Jim Jackson's Norwegian Log cabin houses a fully equipped gymnasium with state-of-the-art fitness equipment including a rowing machine, exercise balls, weights and even a punch-bag to help relieve tension. Dr Jackson's leisure centre has its own shower, toilet and heating, which make it ideal as a teenagers' den or for overnight accommodation when friends and relatives visit.

Alan Clifford, a retired patent agent, and his wife Jeannette have a games room in their Norwegian Log cabin in the garden of their Beaconsfield home.

Playtime for grandchildren

Alan Clifford, a retired patent agent, and his wife Jeannette have a Norwegian Log games room in their garden at their Beaconsfield home. Alan says that the games room encourages extra visits from their grandchildren and friends, who all relish the chance to play on Alan's full-size pool table. There is also space for table tennis and table football.
