Weekly Updates Hero 1

Every Norwegian Log project has its own journey, shaped by the setting, the customer’s needs and the careful work that happens on site each week.

In this new behind-the-scenes series, we’re sharing regular progress updates from live projects across the country, giving you a closer look at how our log homes take shape, from base preparation and installation through to roofing, fit-out and final completion.

This week, our teams have been busy across Devon, Kent, Surrey, Hertfordshire and Somerset, with several projects reaching important milestones.

2

Devon

In Devon, roof tiles have now been completed on a new cabin, marking a major step towards a fully weatherproof exterior. With the structure in place and the roof finished, the cabin is moving closer to the next stage of internal works.

4

Kent

Over in Kent, work is progressing across multiple cabins. One has reached the kitchen fit-out stage, with cabinetry, worktops and appliances being installed to create a practical, comfortable living space. A second cabin has had its UV coat completed, helping to protect the timber and preserve the natural finish. Installation has also begun on a third cabin, with the first sections of the log structure now taking shape on site.

7

Surrey

In Surrey, preparation is underway for a new cabin, with the base inspected and ready for the next stage. A second Surrey project is also moving forward inside, where bathroom fit-out works have begun, bringing the interior one step closer to completion.

9

Hertfordshire

Meanwhile in Hertfordshire, roofing works are progressing well, with the roof covering being installed and the cabin steadily moving towards a watertight finish.

10

Somerset

Finally, in Somerset, one cabin is now complete, standing finished in its countryside setting and ready for its next chapter.

From the first base inspection to the finishing touches inside, these updates show the detail, craftsmanship and coordination involved in every Norwegian Log project.

Follow along each week as we continue sharing progress from live projects across the UK.

It's warm and it's cosy; it's solid and it's quiet. The fragrance of pine reminds you of Scandinavian forests and summer evenings. Your imagination starts to take you places. You imagine a wood burner, perhaps a desk or why not just some space to think?

Our show home is 37 years old, yet customers still say it looks and feels brand new. That's the quality of our workmanship and the materials. When you step into a Norwegian Log building you're stepping into a feeling and just like our buildings it's one that will last.
