Getting positive feedback from our customers is always great to hear but during these unsettling times it has cheered us even more.

We have been really touched to hear from Dave Swift in Somerset who lives in a Norwegian Log annex next to his daughter’s home. When he moved in a couple of years ago, little did he know that the whole country would now be in lockdown and living so close to family would prove invaluable.

Many families across the UK are separated and unable to help elderly relatives, not an issue for Dave and his daughter. He says: “Moving into my annex has proved to be a blessing. My daughter and partner are also confined to home which means we are in daily contact for mutual help, or to have a good chat – at a safe distance – on varying subjects. We can obviously achieve this without coming directly into contact. I am so glad I made the decision to make the move when I did and we can see each other every day. ”

It's warm and it's cosy; it's solid and it's quiet. The fragrance of pine reminds you of Scandinavian forests and summer evenings. Your imagination starts to take you places. You imagine a wood burner, perhaps a desk or why not just some space to think?

Our show home is 35 years old, yet customers still say it looks and feels brand new. That's the quality of our workmanship and the materials. When you step into a Norwegian Log building you're stepping into a feeling and just like our buildings it's one that will last.
